Answer a few simple questions and get a safe starting range. Then refine with the calculator if you want.
Built for RVs, cabins, and backup power.
How this works
This page gives you direction, not engineering math. It uses real sizing logic in plain words.
1) Daily use (kWh)
This is how much power you use in a day.
2) Battery size (kWh)
Battery is “how long you can run” without sun.
Simple rule: Battery ≈ daily use × time
3) Solar size (W)
Solar is “how fast you refill.” Shade and winter often need more solar.
Simple rule: More sun = faster refill. Less sun = slower refill.
Step 1
Pick the closest match. You can change it later.
Step 2
This is your daily “power budget.” It drives everything else.
If you’re unsure, pick medium. We’ll refine it later.
Step 3
This sets how much battery you need.
Quick rule: more time usually means more battery, not just more panels.
Your starting range
These are safe starting ranges. Exact sizing depends on usage, location, and shade.

We’ll email example system setups based on what you selected — sized for your usage, runtime, and setup type.
Tip: if you run AC, pumps, power tools, or electric heat, use the calculator.
