Rich Solar stands behind their products.
All Rich Solar items sold by Beyond Grid Co are covered by the original Rich Solar warranty.
Coverage by product type
- Rigid solar panels - 25 year power output warranty
- Portable briefcase panels - 5 year power output warranty
- Portable power stations - 2 years
- Solar charge controllers - 2 years for MPPT, 6 months for PWM
- Inverters - 2 years
- Flexible solar panels - 1 year on workmanship and materials
- CIGS flexible panels - 1 year on workmanship and materials
- LiFePO4 lithium batteries - 3 years for manufacturer defects
All other Rich Solar parts and accessories are covered for 1 year from the date of purchase for the original buyer.
What Rich Solar will do
If a product has a problem covered under warranty, Rich Solar will choose to:
- Repair the product with new or refurbished parts, or
- Replace it with a new or equivalent product.
The repaired or replaced item keeps the rest of the original warranty, or 90 days, whichever is longer.
Important notes
- Warranty applies to the original consumer only. It cannot be transferred.
- Warranty covers Rich Solar branded products only.
- It does not cover damage from abuse, misuse, improper installation, non Rich Solar parts, or products that have been modified or had serial numbers removed.
- For products with batteries, the battery must be fully charged within 7 days of purchase and at least once every 6 months.

How to get warranty service
If you believe your Rich Solar product has a warranty issue, contact Rich Solar:

They will provide a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. You are responsible for sending the product to Rich Solar. Rich Solar covers the cost to ship repaired or replacement items back within North America.
